My name is 재형, 있을 재(在), 형통할 형(亨)을 쓴다. (형곤 : 헉 나랑 ‘형’ 한자가 똑같아!) ‘모든 일이 다 잘 풀리게 살아라’는 뜻이다. 철학관에서 지었다. (웃음)
My Name is Jaehyung. 'Jae' for exists, "Hyung" as in " to go smoothly". (Hyeongkon: Ha! The exact same hanja as my "hyeong"!) So the meaning of my name means "to live a life where everything goes smoothly". It's a pretty philosophical name (laughs).
데뷔 초기에는 꽃비주얼로 이미지를 잡았는데 지금 많이 달라졌다. 솔직하게 사는 게 더 좋은 것 같다. 숙소에 들어가면서 능구렁이처럼 허물을 벗으면서 들어간다. 가는 길에 양말 하나, 겉옷 하나… 깔끔하게 생겼는데 이미지랑 좀 맞지 않는다는 소리를 많이 듣는다.
When I first debuted, it was with a "flower-boy" image, but now it's changed a lot. Seems like I prefer to be honest! Like a snake shedding off its skin, I start stripping as I enter the dormitory... leaving in my wake socks, jackets, all over the place... I've heard from many that my character is at odds with my seemingly neat and clean image.
MBC에브리원 ‘주간 아이돌’을 보고 오해하는 사람들이 많은데 함께 나왔던 걸그룹 2EYES가 후배 그룹이고, 신인이었기 때문에 부각시켜주고 싶었다. 우리를 희생해서 방송을 재미있게 살리려고 했다. 끝나고 사과도 했고, 그분들도 재미있었다고 말해주셨다.
After watching MBC's "Weekly Idol", it seems that many people got the wrong idea - the girl group that appeared on the show with us, "2EYES", is a rookie group which debuted after us, and so they wanted to be highlighted for this episode. That's why we (A-JAX) sacrificed ourselves (images) to try to make the show more interesting and lively! After the recording ended, we did apologise and the girls also said that they enjoyed the recording.

I'm the one in-charge of updating the members in A-JAX! I frequently monitor news articles, and watch music programs. I'm the one most updated about entertainment news. Yesterday too, I was watching a music show while eating pig trotters all by myself....
SS501의 ‘스노우 프린스’같은 콘셉트로 활동해보고 싶다. 하얀 털장갑 끼고 샤방샤방하게. DSP 보이그룹들은 항상 밝은 노래가 잘 됐기 때문에 그런 전통을 이어가지 않을까.
I want to do promotional activities with a song that has a similar concept as SS501's "Snow Prince" - wearing furry white gloves and glowing-shining-sparkling...! DSP boy groups usually do quite well with such uplifting songs so shouldn't we keep up this tradition?
평소에는 록을 좋아한다. 헤비 메탈말고 JYJ 김재중 선배님이 하시는 록. 김재중 선배님을 좋아해서 유튜브로 매번 영상을 찾아본다.
Normally, I like rock music. Not heavy metal, but the sort of rock that JYJ Kim Jaejoong sonbaenim does. I like Kim Jaejoong-sonbaenim, so I often look up his videos on Youtube.
가수가 되지 않았다면 지금쯤 나는 카레이서를 했을 것이다. 스피디한 걸 좋아해서 모터사이클이나 운전하는 것을 좋아한다. 저번에 매니저 형이 아파서 내가 직접 차를 몰고 스케줄을 간 적도 있다.
If I hadn't became an idol singer, I would probably have became a car racer. I like speed, so I like things like motorcycles and driving. There was previously an occasion when our manager fell sick, so I drove (the members) to schedules myself...
요식업계의 왕자를 노리고 있다. 치킨집을 차릴 테다. (효준 : 내가 하려고 그랬는데!) 고급 레스토랑을 차리기 보다는 나를 좋아하는 팬들이 와서 부담 없이 먹을 수 있는 식당을 차리고 싶다. 내 사진만 아니라 멤버들 사진도 붙여놔서 많은 사람들이 올 수 있게. (웃음) 월드투어 하면서 전 세계 각 지점에 치킨집을 만들어 요식업계의 왕자로 등극하겠다.
I wish to become an F&B (dining) Prince! I want to open a chicken restaurant. (Hyojun: I wanted to do that!) Rather than a classy expensive place, I would rather set up a eatery where my beloved fans can come and eat chicken without feeling burdened. Hanging around will be not just my own photos, but the other members' photos too, so that many people can come (and see them too). (laughs) While having a world tour, I can open branches of my chicken restaurant all over the world and rise to become an F&B Prince!

승진이 생각하는 재형은 얼굴이 정말 잘생겼고, 리더 형곤이 형이 우리에게 말 못해준 것을 재형이 형이 정리를 잘해서 이야기를 해줄 때도 있다. 재형이 형이 여러 모로 힘든 것에 대해서 이야기를 잘 해준다.
Jaehyung in Seungjin's eyes is: Really really handsome, and sometimes when there are things that Leader Hyeong Kon can't express in words, Jaehyung-hyung sums it up neatly and conveys it to us. Jaehyung-hyung is a very good speaker who is able to talk us through various difficult issues and situations.
